Pietro Bianchini

Pietro Bianchini, born October 18, 1828, deceased January 29, 1905, was an Italian musician who was commissioned by the Mekhitarist monks in Venice, Italy to compose an arrangement of the Armenian Divine Liturgy. Bianchini’s works are seldom ever used within the traditional celebration of the Divine Liturgy but selections are often performed as concert pieces.
